Globetrotting DJ and activist Akio Kawahito AKA DJ ID made his name as one of the founders of the Kool Out Lounge in Cape Town, which has since evolved into one of Mzanzi’s (South Africa’s) premier hip-hop venues allowing international DJs to showcase their skills locally.
